A method for processing a three-dimensional image and a recording medium for recording a program for performing the same are provided to enable a host computer to convert a subject capture image by areas, transmitted from a three-dimensional scanner, into one three-dimensional image synthesis data automatically, thereby providing a user with improved work environment and enabling the user to obtaining a three-dimensional subject image easily. A method for processing a three-dimensional image comprises the following steps of: enabling a three-dimensional scanner to divide a subject into at least two or more areas, scan the divided area and transmit the scanned subject capture image by areas to a host computer; converting the capture image by area into three-dimensional image preprocessing data(S200); and synthesizing the three-dimensional image preprocessing data so as to be converted into one three-dimensional image synthesis data(S300). |
