FIELD: beverage production. ^ SUBSTANCE: claimed beverage is produced by hopped or unhopped mash fermentation, finished fermentation and aging, defecation, filtration and treatment to remove fermentation by-products. Beverage is produced by fermentation up to real extract index of 1.1-11 mass % and by treatment to remove fermentation by-products up to real extract index of 0.0002-0.015, e.g. 76-1000 mg/l as calculated to 100 % ethanol.
