<p>The feed adjusting device of a sewing machine (100) comprises a sewing item feeder consisting a sewing item slider (16), and an adjusting mechanism for feed measurement comprising feed adjusting member with a groove part, transfer mechanism, a movable member, first- and second tappet parts, first (7)- and second operation parts (20) and first- and second adjusting tool. The feeder feeds the sewing items in a forward or a backward direction along a sewing items feed direction. The feed adjusting device of a sewing machine (100) comprises a sewing item feeder consisting a sewing item slider (16), and an adjusting mechanism for feed measurement comprising feed adjusting member with a groove part, transfer mechanism, a movable member, first- and second tappet parts, first (7)- and second operation parts (20) and first- and second adjusting tool. The feeder feeds the sewing items in a forward or a backward direction along a sewing items feed direction. The feed adjusting member is kept twistable, and an orientation of the groove part changes in correlation with torsion of the feed adjusting member. The transfer mechanism consists of an abutting member and is operable about the feed adjusting member in forward- and backward directions and rotates in accordance with a reverse action of the sewing item feed direction between both the directions. The movable member intervenes with the groove part, the sewing item feed measure and the sewing item feed direction in accordance with a reverse action between both the directions, and transmits the sewing item feed measure and the sewing item feed direction on the sewing item slider. The operation parts activate the tappet parts, so that the sewing item feed measure is adjusted in both the directions. The second adjusting tool has a hold member that holds the second tappet part and consists of an adjusting disk and an eccentric peg. The adjusting disk holds the hold member and is movable relative to the sewing machine frame. The eccentric peg connects the second tappet part and the hold member. The abutting member comprises a first- and second abutting member. The transfer mechanism consists of a first transfer mechanism with the first abutting member and a second transfer mechanism with the second abutting member. The tappet parts adjust the individual sewing item feed measure in the forward direction and in the backward direction through abutters at two places on the first- and second abutting member in accordance with the reverse action of the sewing item feed direction, so that the rotation area of the feed adjusting member gets regulated around its axes. The adjusting tool adjusts the relative position in relation to the abutting members and the tappet parts, so that a balance is established between the sewing item feed measure in the forward- and backward direction, which is not dependent on the second adjusting tool.</p> |
