<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of turning on/off a video light appropriately in accordance with the photographing situation, and to provide a program therefor. <P>SOLUTION: Auxiliary automatic light emission is set by user operation of a key input part 10 and when slew image display or motion picture photographing is started, a CPU 9 starts acquiring one of frames sequentially imaged by a CCD 4 at a predetermined interval. An EV value is then calculated based on the acquired frames, it is determined whether an LED 16 is in the On state at present and in On state, it is determined whether the calculated EV value is EV5 or more. If the EV value is EV5 or more, the LED 16 is temporarily turned off to determine whether a photographed scene is the dark situation really, one frame is imaged and then the LED 16 is turned on. The EV value is then calculated based on the imaged frame and if it is determined that the EV value is not EV3 or less, it is determined that the photographed scene is not the dark situation and the LED 16 is turned off. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
