PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anisotropically conductive adhesive which, in the connection of the electrodes on which an oxide film tends to be formed, can maintain high connection reliability over a long period and provide a connecting method of the electrodes using it. SOLUTION: The anisotropically conductive adhesive is the one in which metal fine particles 4 are formed in an insulating adhesive 2 as an aggregate that has been let to cohere and conductive particles 3 having vacancy 5 in the inside are dispersed. On the surface part of the conductive particles 3 there exist many irregularities due to the metal fine particle 4 that have cohered.
