PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel heat storage tank suitable for a waste heat utilizing system for an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: By incorporating a check valve 13 allowing only a flow of fluid in one direction, and an on-off valve 14 arranged in parallel with the check valve 13, and opening and closing fluid passages 1222, 1223 in response to a temperature of fluid, into the heat storage tank 12, mounting space can be reduced. Since the check valve 13 is not necessary to mount in a fluid circuit, fixing with a machine screw is unnecessary, a hose clamp also becomes unnecessary, and man-hour can be reduced.
