The bearing structure (1) has a device for measuring and/or for monitoring of bearing structure load. The device has a force-sensing device (4,8,9) e.g. load cell for measuring and/or for monitoring of the bearing structure load. The bearing structure has a bracket for a bearing and the force-sensing device measures the force, which acts on bracket. The force-sensing device is arranged beneath the bracket. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a retro-fit equipment for installation at bearing structure (2) use of a force-sensing device or a distance measuring device.
