A contact unit consists of a completely insulated body, an electrical pathway contact elements in the form of resilient plates of wave-like form, and plug fitting. The contact unit includes an additional plate of wave-like form made of alloy with shape memory effect, which mechanically united with contact elements surface and electrically connected with electrical pathways. The usage of the plate made of alloy with shape memory effect gives possibility to increase squeezing of contact-details touch aria, to reduce a transient resistance and to slow down of chemical deterioration of contacting surfaces that significantly extends lifetime of the contact unit.
