The invention relates to a polynucleotide, coding a polypeptide of potential-depending portal ionic human channel (CanIon), to a method for obtaining of this polypeptide, an antibody, which specifically binds it, to a method for identification of CanIon-polypeptide candidate modulator, to a method for identification of CanIon-polypeptide modulator, to a method for treatment of bipolar disorder or schizophrenia, comprising introduction of an antibody, and use of an antibody for production of drugs for treatment of schizophrenia or bipolar disorder.
