<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag for side collision of an automobile, capable of receiving an occupant head portion while two or more cylindrical expansion chambers are superimposed in a width direction of an airbag. <P>SOLUTION: In the inside of an airbag body 10 formed in a bag shape, two inner base fabrics joined with each other by an inner joint portion 21 are provided. Fore-and-aft both end portions and a part between the inner joint portion 21 and the inner joint portion 21 are respectively joined to a front side base fabric 8a and a back side base fabric 8b by superimposing joint portions 22a, 22b extending in a vertical direction from the inside. Therefore, in a range where the inner base fabrics 19a, 19b exist, three-layer cylindrical expansion chambers 25a, 26, 25b are formed on the front side base fabric 8a side, the back side base fabric 8b side, and the inner base fabrics 19a, 19b in the middle of them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
