<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge accommodating case capable of easily opening cases which are integrated with each other by engaging a recessed part with a projecting part. <P>SOLUTION: The cartridge accommodating case 100 accommodates a flat-shaped cartridge 21 in which a magnetic tape winding reel is provided. At least one division chamber 27 for holding a cartridge group 29 of a block shape in which a plurality of cartridges 21 are juxtaposed in the thickness direction is formed by overlapping a projecting part 41 and a recessed part 43 provided at an upper case 23 and a lower case 25, respectively, in a mutually engaging manner.
