The seat has a seat part with a seat part frame, which is flexibly connected with a seat lower frame by front and rear guides (24, 26). A backrest is formed in a foldable manner and locked in a usage position by a locking mechanism. A backrest frame (12) is pivotably mounted at a backrest pivotal axle in the lower frame. The backrest frame is mechanically coupled with the seat part frame by a coupling mechanism (16). The coupling mechanism has a coupling member (18) flexibly connecting the front and rear guides with lower ends of the backrest frame.
