PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall surface moving device capable of controlling oscillation of a linear body even when external action such as strong wind exists, in the wall surface moving device comprising a moving main body connected with the linear body such as a cable and moving on a wall surface, and a drum for unwinding and winding the linear body with the movement of the moving main body. SOLUTION: This wall surface moving device 10 comprising the moving main body 3 moving on the wall surface 6, the linear body 2 connected with the moving main body 3, supplying electric power to the moving main body 3, transferring the data with the moving main body 3 or supporting the moving main body 3, and the drum 5 performing the linear body 2 unwinding or winding motion in accompany with the movement of the moving main body 3, further comprises a control device 7 disposed on the wall surface 6 at an interval from the moving main body 3 for controlling the oscillation of the linear body 2 unwound from the drum 5.
