Method of monitoring a redundant measurement parameter measured by e.g. a vehicle brake system in a motorcycle

The method involves determining an auxiliary signal from at least two signals each defining or representing the redundant measurement parameter. The auxiliary signal is filtered and the filtered signal is compared with a predetermined threshold. The auxiliary signal may be derived from the difference between the two signals. Independent claims also cover a vehicle brake system using the method.
