HORNY LAYER PROTEIN DETECTING METHOD AND METHODS FOR EVALUATING EPIDERMIS TURNOVER AND SKIN STATE USING SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discover a method for simply detecting an expression or existence state of horny layer proteins including desmoglein, and to develop a skin evaluating method based on it. SOLUTION: A horny layer protein detecting method is characterized by exfoliating and extracting a horny layer from a skin in a tape stripping operation and then staining a sample of the extracted horny layer by using a fluorescent antibody method. A method for detecting an existence position of the horny layer protein in the horny layer is also characterized by exfoliating the horny layer two or more times at the same portion of the skin and extracting the horny layer in the tape stripping operation, and then staining two or more samples of the extracted horny layer by using the fluorescent antibody method.
