PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard disk drive capable of removing particles remaining at least on one surface side of a disk and preventing generation of errors due to the particles. SOLUTION: The hard disk drive is provided with: a disk pack 10 having at least one disk 11 for recording and storing data and a spindle motor 12 supporting and rotating the disk; a base 52 to which the disk pack is connected; a cover 54 covering the upper surface of the base; and at least one filter 61, 62 having an adsorption layer 61a, 62a adsorbing the particles and provided over at least an inner diameter (ID) region of the disk at the position facing at least one side of both sides of the disk with respect to the radial direction of the disk.
