A method and a system for treatment of organic waste are provided to improve the carbonizing efficiency and maximize the utilization of a heat source by carbonizing a drying object using superheated vapor generated by reheating exhaust gas using the combustion apparatus after obtaining the exhaust gas by passing hot blast supplied from a combustion apparatus through a fluidized bed dryer and a jacket dryer. In a system for treatment of organic waste comprising a combustion apparatus, a jacket dryer, a fluidized bed dryer, a carbonizer and a cyclone, the system is characterized in that the carbonizer comprises: a carbonizing furnace(81) which is supported by supporting wheels(83) installed on a base(82), of which a power source is rotationally driven by a chain power transmitting means(84), and which has vane elements formed on an inner surface thereof to disperse and transfer a drying object; a side cover(85) for covering one side of the carbonizing furnace, and a side cover for covering discharge holes(81b) formed on the other side of the carbonizing furnace; and a heat transfer pipe(88) which encircles an air transfer line(L3) passing through the carbonizing furnace, is connected to the carbonizing furnace by means of supports(87), and has air dividing elements formed on the periphery thereof.
