<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter substrate which has a uniform color characteristic and a viewing angle characteristic of a wide viewing field angle, to provide a liquid crystal display device comprising the color filter substrate, to provide electronic equipment which mounts the liquid crystal display device thereon, to provide a method of manufacturing the color filter substrate and a method of fabricating the liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: Since a distance T1 of the protrusion part 16 is smaller than a distance T2 of the protrusion part 15 (15a, 15b), a way of falling of liquid crystal molecules 101c which fall between the protrusion part 16 and a slit 23b can be controlled so as to be different from a way of falling of liquid crystal molecules 101a which fall between the protrusion part 15a and a slit 23a.
