EXPOSURE MASK AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY USING THE SAME AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

An exposure mask, an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) using the same, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent over-etching and removal of a corner portion of a color filter by providing a dummy transmissive portion extending from a corner portion of a transmissive portion(or blocking portion) to form a color filter corresponding to a transmissive portion(or blocking portion) of a mask. A first area controls incident light so that a portion of a thin film remains as a pattern. A second area controls the incident light in the opposite matter to the first area, and removes a remaining area of the thin film. A dummy area extends from a corner portion of the first area, and allows a thin film pattern corresponding to the first area. The first area is a transmissive portion(64) transmitting incident light, the second area is a blocking portion(62) blocking the incident light, and the dummy area is a dummy transmissive portion(65) extending from the corner of the transmissive portion.
