<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic pressure generating device that can scale down and simplify a design of a driving control system without causing practical problems, and undergoes no restrictions by piping or wiring. <P>SOLUTION: The hydraulic pressure generating device includes: a hydraulic pressure generating unit having a reservoir tank, a supermagnetostrictive hydraulic pump and an electromagnetic switching valve; and a control section for driving control of the supermagnetostrictive hydraulic pump and the electromagnetic switching valve. The hydraulic pressure generating device further includes an electromagnetic inductive transmission unit arranged between the control section and the hydraulic pressure generating unit.
