A pipe connection (1), in which two pipes (2) (3), partly inserted one inside the other, are gripped by a tie clamp (4) fitted to the outer pipe (3) and retained on the outer pipe (3) by a retaining device (15), wherein an angular retaining seat (18), formed on the clamp (4), is engaged angularly loosely by a radial projection (20) on the outer pipe (3), and wherein two further radial projections (21) are also provided on the outer pipe (3) to axially retain an intermediate portion (11a) of the clamp (4).
