<p>A computer-implemented method comprises providing, for display, by a computing system including at least one computer on a network, a video ad and an actionable object configured to skip the rendering of the video ad. Further, the method comprises determining, by the computing system, whether the ad has been skipped within a predetermined time period from its beginning. If so, then the impression for the ad may be considered invalid or assumed not to have occurred. Otherwise it may be considered to be a valid impression.</p> |
