DEVICE FOR MOVABLY RETAINING INPUT/OUTPUT UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device achieving movably retaining an input/output unit enabling a space-saving structure. SOLUTION: In the device for movably retaining the input/output unit 4, a drive device 6 for turning the unit 4 to a use position erected from a fallen non-use position or to an direction opposite to it; a cover 5 for covering the input/output unit positioned at the non-use position at a closure position; and flat transmission devices 12, 13, 14 comprising many portions forcedly operated are provided. The transmission devices form a kinematic chain and a guide for the cover and the guide moves the cover to a release position from the closure position or to an opposite direction to it. The device 1 has a connection member 17 and the connection member synchronizes motion of the input/output unit and motion of the cover. The connection member 17 is driven by the drive device 6 of the input/output unit and drives the transmission devices of the cover 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
