PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for extracting a mulberry component by which raw materials can be ensured even in the winter season, etc., and an extract from the mulberry component can be obtained according to a simple method. SOLUTION: The component contained in raw wood or a leaf of a mulberry is extracted. In the process, the raw wood or raw leaf of the mulberry is roasted in an atmosphere under atmospheric pressure at a low temperature of≤140°C in a roaster.
