<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which can perform printing without wasting a recording medium, when reprinting is performed by correcting already printed contents, a control method for the image processor, and a program. <P>SOLUTION: First data, which are stored as unupdated data in an HDD 108, are selected from an operation part 170, and second corrected data are input as updated data from a scanner 180 or a Network I/F 104. A difference data extraction part 117 extracts difference data by comparing the first data with the second data, and a preview of the extracted difference data and the direction of setting printing paper are displayed on the operation part 170.
