PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable performance of various editings, using a simple configuration by applying to a simple editing system, especially one using information equipment, such as personal computer in relation with editing device and editing method. SOLUTION: The present invention transmits only about a partial video signal required for setting processing of an editing point to a storage means for a work, and previews by this partial video signal.
