The arrangement has a receiver system (1) which consists of an equilateral carrier (2) which is obtuse angled within cross section in form of a roof edge prism (delta ). The two equal photoelectric receivers (FE1, FE2) are arranged adjacent at the base plane (3) on side surfaces (4,5) parallel to roof edge (6). The carrier is supported so as to rotate around an axis (DP), which runs parallel to the roof edge and halves base plane. An independent claim is also included for the method for determination of the relative position.
