A display panel is provided to improve the display quality of the display panel by changing a shape of a surface of a light shielding layer and thus preventing light leakage. An array substrate(100) has a plurality of gate lines and a plurality of source lines(DL) crossing the gate lines for defining a plurality of unit pixels. An opposite substrate faces the array substrate and includes a light shielding layer formed at an area corresponding to the gate lines and the source lines. The light shielding layer has uneven patterns. A liquid crystal layer(300) is interposed between the array substrate and the opposite substrate. |
