An antenatal training apparatus using a mobile terminal and a method thereof are provided to enable a pregnant woman to confirm the state of her unborn baby at any time and anywhere, to let the unborn baby hear an antenatal training sound on the move, and to talk with the unborn baby. An antenatal training apparatus(300) using a mobile terminal(100) comprises a standard connection port(340), a speaker(320), and a microphone(330). The standard connection port(340) connects the speaker(320) and the microphone(330) to an arbitrary external device. If an antenatal training button(115) is pushed when the standard connection port(340) is connected to the standard connection port slot(116) of the mobile terminal(100), an antenatal training program is driven. The antenatal training program transfers a sound signal, inputted through the microphone(113) of the mobile terminal(100), to the standard connection port slot(116) according to a dialogue mode or an antenatal training sound mode or delivers a sound signal, inputted through the standard connection port slot(116), to the speaker(123) of the mobile terminal(100). In case that the antenatal training program is executed in the middle of telephone conversation, the antenatal training program outputs a sound signal received from the other side's mobile terminal to the standard connection port slot(116) together with a signal inputted from the microphone(113) of the mobile terminal(100). The antenatal training program delivers a sound signal inputted through the standard connection port slot(116) to the speaker(123) of the mobile terminal(100) and the other side's mobile terminal.
