APPARATUS FOR LOCKING THE FRONT PANEL OF ATM

A front guide plate locking device of an ATM(Automated Teller Machine) is provided to prevent foreign materials from being inserted into a separating unit when the separating unit is exposed in turning a front guide plate. A front guide plate locking device(100) of an ATM for locking and unlocking a front guide plate(80) in opening and closing a shutter is composed of a locking member(120) pressing an upper side of the front guide plate to prevent the front guide plate from being rotated around a hinge unit(81) in opening the shutter; a locking release plate(140) releasing the front guide plate locked by the locking member, in closing the shutter; a support member(110) comprising a locking member combining unit joined with the locking member, a locking release plate contact unit(111) contacted with the locking release plate, in closing the shutter, and a rotational center shaft that is a rotational center in contacting the locking release plate with the locking release plate contact unit; and a rotation restricting unit(130) restricting the front guide plate from being rotated around the hinge unit by making the locking member press the upside of the front guide plate while the shutter is opened.
