PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply form a fuse element without requiring a thin wire machining which becomes a factor of a manufacturing cost increase when forming the fuse element. SOLUTION: A fuse element paste containing a metal powder which melts at calcining temperature and a metal powder which doest not melt at the calcining temperature is printed on a substrate and calcined, thereby these metal powders are alloyed and the fuse element containing these alloys is formed. It is preferable that Sn powder is used as the metal powder that melts at the calcining temperature and at least one kind selected from Ag powder, Ni powder, Cu powder, Au powder, and Sb powder is used.
