A method for configuring a reproduction list of multimedia contents by using a mobile terminal is provided to allow a user to easily and quickly configure a reproduction list of multimedia contents through a search window and effectively manage the data of a mobile terminal. A communication signal processing unit(120) is connected with a multimedia contents server, and downloads multimedia contents and contents information from the multimedia contents server. A contents storage unit(108) stores the multimedia contents and the contents information. A reproduction list storage unit(110) stores a multimedia contents reproduction list. A program memory(102) stores a contents reproduction list configuration program for configuring the multimedia contents reproduction list and a contents reproduction program for reproducing the multimedia contents. A microprocessor(114) executes the contents reproduction list configuration program to provide a search window for searching the multimedia contents, searches the multimedia contents by using contents information inputted to the search window, adds an address value of multimedia contents selected by a user to the multimedia contents reproduction list, and stores a completed multimedia contents reproduction list to the reproduction list storage unit.
