PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a wiring technology for short circuit of an optical pickup and work for removing wiring and to prevent influence of static electricity by releasing a short circuit state of the optical pickup by only attaching a disk drive unit to an electronic device case. SOLUTION: A changeover switch short-circuiting a signal line of the optical pickup by a always closed contact is provided at the disk drive unit when the disk drive unit is arranged at the electronic device, the operator operates the changeover switch by providing the operator at the electronic device case and the always closed contact is opened, and the short circuit state of the signal line of the optical pickup is released.
