PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide play equipment and a play equipment construction method capable of easily and quickly forming a space for a plurality of playgrounds in a prescribed place. SOLUTION: This play equipment is characterized by providing play ground units connecting the upper ends and lower ends of six vertical columns 3 disposed at prescribed intervals together respectively to form a space for a play area inside thereof whose outer shape in the plan view is a regular hexagon, and by connecting the plurality of playground units 1 in a state that two adjacent vertical columns 3 and 3 of a specific playground unit 1 and two adjacent vertical columns 3 and 3 of another playground unit 1 to be connected to the unit are overlapped in the horizontal direction.
