<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide optimum store information in the vicinity of a user by using a cell phone equipped with a GPS receiver, which is becoming widely available, and specifying the distance to the user on the basis of the position information held by a store guide server in advance. <P>SOLUTION: The store guide system calculates the distance between two points on the basis of the present position information of the user obtained by the cell phone and the position information of stores held by a database of a distribution server in advance and provides only the stores existing within a predetermined range as information for the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
