PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential pressure casting apparatus with which even in the case of performing differential pressure casting by using a sand mold, removal of the sand mold after forming and fitting of the sand mold before forming can easily be performed. SOLUTION: In the differential pressure casting apparatus provided with: a holding furnace 4 which can hold molten metal; a first chamber part 5; a placing table 9 capable of placing a mold having a cavity; a second chamber part 6 fitted to the upper part of the first chamber part 5 in a removable state; a stoke 7 extended to the placing table 9 from the holding furnace 4; a pressurizing means C which is controllable so that the pressure in the second chamber part 6 becomes lower than the pressure in the first chamber part 5; and a shifting means for performing the removal and the filling from/to the upper part of the first chamber part 5 by shifting the second chamber part 6; the sand mold 8 is placed on the placing table 9 and also, the shifting means raises the second chamber part 6 and removes it, and then shifts it to a side part in order to make it evacuate from the upper part of the placing table 9.
