COMMUNICATION SYSTEM TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING COMMUNICATION SIGNAL HAVING INTRA-GUARD-INTERVAL

A communication system for transmitting/receiving IGI(Intra Guard Interval)-inserted communication signals is provided to improve performance and prevent transmission time from being extended by preventing intra-symbol/inter-symbol interference. A DCSK(Differential Chaos Shift Keying) communication system comprises a transmitter(10) and a receiver(20). The transmitter(10), carrying a chaotic signal with data to the receiver(20), comprises a chaotic signal generator(11), a multiplier(13), a delay unit(15), and a switch(17). The chaotic signal generator(11) generates a chaotic signal having a certain characteristic for data transmission. The multiplier(13) receives a data bit '0' or '1' to create data, multiplies the chaotic signal by the data bit, and supplies it to the delay unit(15). The delay unit(15) delays the signal, provided from the multiplier(13), by half a symbol cycle and creates a data signal to be inserted and transmitted at the latter half of the symbol cycle. The switch(17) comprises the first contact connected to the chaotic signal generator(11), the second contact connected to the delay unit(15), and a no-signal contact, or the third contact. The switch(17) executes switching so that the output of the chaotic signal generator(11), the output of the delay unit(15), or no signal can be outputted.
