FILTER ASSEMBLY AND PLASMA DISPLAY APPARATUS COMPRISING THE SAME

A filter assembly with an adhesive pattern layer is provided to reduce dual images by attaching directly the filter assembly on a front surface of a plasma display panel. A filter assembly includes a film type filter(17) and an adhesive pattern layer(15). The adhesive layer is formed on one side of the film type filter in order to attach the film type filter to a plasma display panel and to collect the light of the plasma display panel. The adhesive pattern layer includes a plurality of convex parts(12) which are formed in a plasma display panel direction. The convex parts have shapes of convex lenses. The film type filter includes a base film(13).
