<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition which is derived from a natural product, has no side effects, is highly safe in a long-term chronic dosing, and can perform the prevention and/or therapy of diabetes and heart disease by increasing serum adiponectin concentration. <P>SOLUTION: A zinc organic complex containing, as a ligand, a compound selected from among allixin, tropolone, salicylic acid, and their derivatives is used to prepare a medical agent and a trophism foodstuff both for increasing serum adiponectin concentration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
