PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To publish an enciphered portion of a document when a confidential-nature term has expired while enciphering a partial region of document. SOLUTION: In the document, secret preserving terms of regions of region identification information "Area 1", "Area 2" and "Area 3" are set as 2005/11/1, 2005/11/30 and 2005/11/15, respectively. By ciphering a partial region of the document, the region can be kept secret for a client device unable to decipher the region. Besides, the secret preserving term is set for each region of the document and so a region whose secret preserving term has expired is not enciphered.
