PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sealing the pipe end of a copper pipe after substituting inactive gas or dry oxygen to surely prevent the oxidation discoloration of the inner face of the copper pipe which is activated with an oil component removed therefrom. SOLUTION: The method is provided for sealing the pipe end of the copper pipe to prevent the discoloration of the inner face of the copper pipe. Pressure and compression-bonding are applied to the pipe end in the radial direction of the copper pipe to prevent the discoloration of the inner face of the copper pipe. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
