PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for applying a lubricant such as wax, which is capable of readily controlling check and maintenance of a jetting nozzle and the amount of jet and hardly contaminating peripheral devices. SOLUTION: The method for producing a corrugating base paper for corrugated cardboard comprises mounting a jetting nozzle 4 for spraying a lubricant liquid to a reel part B after leaving a final drier 1 of a drier part A and applying the lubricant to a traveling corrugating base paper C for corrugated cardboard.
