PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable bathing apparatus which facilitates movements to get in and out of a bathtub by an extremely simple structure in bathing equipment for physically handicapped persons, persons in need of care such as aged persons, or the like. SOLUTION: In the portable bathing apparatus equipped with a bathtub body A comprising a main body part A<SB>1</SB>of the bathtub with a seat part 4 and a bathtub opening and closing part A<SB>2</SB>, a main body joint surface part 10 opposing the part A<SB>2</SB>of the main body part A<SB>1</SB>is steeply slanted at both side parts in the width direction in a manner to make the lower end side protrude to the front side rather than the upper end side, and the front end part 4a<SB>1</SB>of a seat surface 4a of the seat part 4 protrudes from the main body part A<SB>1</SB>and is located at the same position as the lower end part of the main body part A<SB>1</SB>.
