A sheet processing device (1) has a pair of rollers (2, 3) having, in their circumferential surfaces, tooth grooves meshing with each other and processes a sheet (10) fed to the meshing portion while the rollers (2, 3) are rotated. The pitch of adjacent teeth (20, 30) of each roller (2, 3) is 1.0 mm - 5.0 mm, the width of each tooth (20, 30) is less than 1/2 of the pitch, and the height of the tooth (20, 30) is the pitch of the adjacent teeth. Preferably, the meshing depth of the teeth (20, 30) of the rollers (2, 3) is in the range from 1.0 mm up to the height of the teeth. |
