<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure the blood pressure without being affected by the delay of the reactive time of a measuring person in measuring the blood pressure while listening to the Korotkoff sounds. <P>SOLUTION: The blood pressure manometer comprises: a cuff; a pressurizing means; a depressurizing means; a pressure sensor for detecting the pressure of the cuff; an analog display for electronically displaying the pressure of the cuff in a bar graph along a scale; a means for detecting pulse waves based on the detected pressure data; a means for holding the pressure value detected when the climbing of the pulse waves is detected; an external input switch for generating an external input signal by the manual operation; and a blood pressure determining means for determining the pressure value when the pulse wave climbs just before the time when a first external input signal is input from the external input switch in the process of measuring the blood pressure as the maximal blood pressure and determining the pressure value when the pulse wave climbs just before the time when a second external input signal is input thereafter as the minimal blood pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
