PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information retrieval support system for efficiently performing a document preparing operation by achieving a function of storing retrieved and selected information by using information consolidated in a database. SOLUTION: A server 101 stores merchandise information 310(merchandise image) retrieved and selected from a merchandise information database 301 as basket information 330. The stored basket information 330 is selected, and merchandise ID 335 of the basket information 330 is substituted in session variable 70. Afterwards, the merchandise information 310 is retrieved and selected, and registered in the basket, and the merchandise ID 335 of the retrieved and selected merchandise information 310 is added to the session variable 70, and the basket information 330 equivalent to the session variable 70 is stored and provided.
