PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily attach/detach a joint from a large diameter part side of a shaft member 2 without disassembling the joint. SOLUTION: In the boot 45 attached to one opening in an axial direction of the joint 4 mounted on a free end side of a small diameter part 22 of the shaft member 2 having the large diameter part 23 and the small diameter part 22 aligned in an axial direction and closing the opening, a body part 45a of the boot 45 is formed in a cone cylindrical shape and a shape having flexibility. A small diameter side area X1 at the body part 45a is formed of an elastic material excellent in radial expansion/contraction property and an area X2 other than the small side area X1 is formed of a non-metal material excellent in strength in bending and tension.
