摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve acceleration response while preventing formation of a large quantity of smoke when NOx in a light load range is reduced by exhaust gas recirculation. SOLUTION: An exhaust passage 31 on a downstream side of a turbine wheel 25b of a supercharger 25 and an intake passage 21 on an upstream side of a compressor wheel 25a are connected by a first EGR passage 41. The exhaust passage 31 on an upstream side of the turbine wheel 25b and the intake passage 21 on a downstream side of the compressor wheel 25a are connected by a second EGR passage 42. A great quantity of exhaust gas recirculation from both EGR passages 41, 42 is executed under a steady operation condition in the light load range and exhaust gas recirculation from both EGR passages 41, 42 is stopped respectively when acceleration is detected.
