<p>An automobile air conditioner in which a steering member of a vehicle is utilized as an air channel. A portion of the automobile air conditioner is separated as a mixing/blowout mode unit, and the mixing/blowout mode unit is installed at a place that has been a dead space. By this, the volume of installation of the automobile air conditioner is relatively reduced. The mixing/blowout mode unit (24) having an air mixing mechanism and a blowout mode switchover mechanism is separated from a hot/cold air supply unit (2). A hot/cold air guiding structure body (16) utilizes the steering member and has in it a hot air channel (18) and a cold air channel (19). A downstream side connection opening (21), which is on the downstream side of the hot air channel (18) and the cold air channel (19), is provided in the front, in the vehicle advance direction, of the hot/cold air guiding structure body (16). Then, the mixing/blowout mode unit (24) is connected to the downstream side connection opening (21) of the hot/cold air guiding structure body (16).</p> |
