<p>A conventional combustion furnace has problems that its in-furnace temperature is up to 1100°C, has in many cased a fixed electrode, and a horizontal-moving type is difficult to use due to a power supplying method and an electrode tilted by the weight of a power supply cable. An electric resistance heating furnace capable of keeping its in-furnace temperature at 1400°C or above with a constitution of capable of moving an electrode horizontally while keeping it vertical. A main portions are constituted such that a fixed tube (9) is fixed to the upper portion of a furnace body (1) along a horizontal axis and a conductive cylinder (7) is slidably fitted loosely over the fixed tube (9), electrode holders (4 and 4A) are provided at the tip end of the conductive cylinder (7) to hold an electrode (2) almost vertically by the both holders (4, 4A), the base of the conductive cylinder (7) is joined to an electrode-use actuator (11) to allow the conductive cylinder (7) to move forward/rearward appropriately by means of the electrode-use actuator (11), and a power supplying conductor (14) is joined to the vicinity of the base of the conductive cylinder (7).</p> |
